To my Daughter,

If you need me, call me. I don't care if I'm sleeping, if I'm having my own problems or if I'm angry at you. If you need me and if you need to talk to me, I'll always be there for you, no matter how big or how small your problem is, I'LL BE THERE. :)

You are the joy of my days, you are my love more true, you make me feel so happy, I'm very proud of you! I love you baby! ♥ :)

Take time to realize..

"A Simple Thank You" I woke up this morning and knew that today, the sun would not be shining and the clouds would be gray. As I stepped outside, rain fell upon my head. My car wouldn’t start so I walked to college instead. I forgot all of my assignments, I failed all of my tests. I dropped my head in disgust and asked the Lord for one request: “Lord, why is it that things won’t go my way?” He gently replied, “Dear child it is because you didn’t thank me yesterday. I woke you up and enabled you to see the sun again. I gave you shelter, protected your family, and even let you make a new friend. I blessed you far greater than I ever had before. But you were too busy to thank me once more. You didn’t feel sick because I maintained your health. You had money in your pocket because I maintained your wealth. You had shoes on your feet and clothes to wear, too. You had plenty of food to eat, and what did you do? You ignored me and went about your tasks. But when you wanted something you never hesitated to ask. I was there when you needed me, and that wasn’t too long ago. But when things started going your way, it was me you did not know. As if that weren’t enough, I provided your favorite luxuries. This was something I didn’t have to do, they weren’t even necessities. And when it was time to get on your knees and show your gratitude, you decided that after such a fulfilling day, you weren’t in the mood. So I decided to give you just a little test. "Ang mga babae, madaldal/mabunganga." Oo, wala talagang tigil ang bibig nila sa pag-rachada sa kakasalita. Lalo na sa tuwing pinapaalala nila sayo na oras na para inumin ang iyong gamot, kapag nagtatanung sila kung kumain ka na ba, kapag ginising ka nila sa umaga upang hindi ma-late at sa mga pagkakataon na nag-aalala sila sayo at tinatanung kung nasaan ka na at bakit hindi ka pa umuuwi. Walang duda, madaldal nga. Hayaan mo na, balang araw, siguro magbabago din sila. Tipong maririnig mo lang ee "Oo", "Hinde" at "Pwede". Para kayong naglalaro ng Pinoy Henyo. Romantic siguro ng buhay nyo nun. "Ang mga babae, mashadong sentimental." Sinabi mo pa. Tandang tanda nga nila ang petsa at lugar kung saan kayo unang nag-date, isinulat niya din sa kanyang diary kung ano ang mga ginawa ninyo, nakatago at ingat na ingat siya sa mga larawan nyong dalawa, daig pa niya ang Smithsonian sa pag-aalaga ng mga iniregalo mo at kahit kailan hindi niya nalilimutan ang mga importanteng okasyon tulad ng anniversary, monthsary, weeksary o birthday mo. Nakaka-inis ba? Ok lang yan, malay mo next time, hindi na siya ganun. Tipong i-aasa na lang niya sa Facebook ang iyong kaarawan. Tapos tamang post na lang sa wall mo ng "hapi bday". "Ang mga babae, emosyonal." They cry about movies. They get teary with a romantic novel. They blush and gasp upon seeing a picture of a cute dog or a cuddly baby. Bakit ba ganun sila? Buti na lang tayo hindi. Kinikimkim lang naten lahat ng emosyon sa loob hanggang sa sumabog at atakihin sa puso o di naman kaya ee magpapakalasingtapos magwawala at maghahamon ng wrestling. Di ba mas logical un? Madalas pa mag-imagine na ikakasal kayo sa simbahan. Lagi nag a-iloveyou, imissyou, take care at mwah mwah sa text. Asar ka na ba at nacocornyhan? Ayos lang yan. Darating din siguro ang time na titigil siya at isesend ang mga un sa iba. Women are probably the greatest gift to men, from God, beside beer and sizzling sisig. At para sken, women deserve all advantages, lalo na sa pag-ibig. Sana lahat ng babae ay maging masaya ang lovelife. Sana, walang babaeng heart-broken, kasi, tayong mga lalake, we're meant to pursue them and it's okay if we fail from time to time. It's the way nature intended it. Gaya ng isang leon sa usa o pag-ikot ng earth sa paligid ng araw. Mas okay kung tayo na lang ung masasaktan. Ee sila? Isipin mo, nagkakaroon sila ng "dalaw" at nababaliw kada buwan, nabubuntis at nahihirapan ng 9 months, at pinaka matindi sa lahat, kailangan pa nilang panatilihing makinis at walang buhok ang kanilang mga kili-kili. Ano ba namang pasayahin sila at gawing "scar-free" ang kanilang buhay pag-ibig. And if you are with a great gal, do everything to make her happy. Don't ever break her heart. Wag kang magpa-uto sa mga statistics, na nagsasabing, mas marami ang babae sa lalake, kaya okay lang mang-chiks. Ano pa bang gusto mo? Hindi pa ba sapat na minahal ka niya sa kabila ng iyong pagiging engot at kawalan ng Romantic DNA sa katawan? Malaki man ang papolasyon nila sa mundo, napaka-liit ng tsansang makakilala ka ulet ng katulad niya na magtya-tyaga sayo. Tandaan, pansamantala ka mang maakit ng naglalakihang pulang high-heels o maaarteng makintab na sandals, mas masarap pa ring umuwe sa nag-iisang tsinelas ng buhay mo. :)

Pseudo-Relationship

Pseudo-relationship The “parang kayo, pero hindi” stage. Others call it MU or mutual understanding. Pseudo-boyfriends, Pseudo-girlfriends. Flings. Almost like a relationship, but not quite. It is a phase where the person involved are more than friends, but not quite lovers. Pwedeng may verbal agreement, pwedeng wala. One or both of you may have admitted your feelings, possible ding hindi. You just let your gestures do the talking for you. Walang pormal na ligawan na nangayari. Hindi kayo “on” pero sa kilos nyo, sa mga sinasabi nyo, parang kayo, pero hindi. This kind of “relationship” happens at different stages for different reasons. Pwedeng after a break-up. Ung bang you still love each other and you still want to be together pero wala ng commitment. It can also happen before the relationship. Un bang pareho kayong nakikiramdam. Possible din na ayaw niyo munang magseryoso kaya kunwa-kunwariaan lang. TESTING LANG kung baga.O kaya naman hindi pwede maging kayo kasi isa sa inyo (usually the guy) may karelasyon na. Kaya habang hindi pa siya nakikipagbreak doon sa girl, wala muna kayong relasyon para nga naman hindi sya matawag na nangangaliwa kasi “hindi naman kayo”. This Pseudo-relationship stage for a time can be fun. Lalo na kung naghahanap ka lang naman ng “kalaro”. Pero huwag kang mag-e-expect na may patutunguhan kayo kasi wala talagang kasiguraduan. So bakit ang daming nagse-settle sa ganitong set up ganoong hindi naman sigurado kung may patutunguhan? Iba’t-ibang dahilan. Pwedeng for fun lang. Pwedeng “buti na yan kesa wala” or “pantawid-gutom”. Meaning habang wala pa iyong real thing, don na muna sa kunwa-kunwarian. But then, kahit na pseudo-relationship lang sya, the emotions are real. The consequences? - Una, you can’t ask them to commit. Since it’s not really a relationship, you can’t demand from your partner. You can’t expect them to be always there for you. And if you feel jealous, you just have to keep it to yourself. Ano ka nya para magselos? - Pangalawa, what if on the process eh nainlove ka sa kanya? You can’t be sure if she/he feels the same way. Baka nag-a-assume ka lang na mahal ka rin nya. This stage will always make you wonder where you are in a relationship. - Pangatlo, what if you become attached too much? What if you have invested all your emotions and he/she hasn’t. Isa pang downside ng pseudo-relationships; It is fleeting. When a disagreement sets in or when one of you gets cold, then that would be the end of it. Unlike a serious relationship, hindi mo alam kung saan ka lulugar sa isang pseudo-relationship kasi wala kang pinanghahawakan. Kasi ang pseudo-relationship, there is NO “US”. Meron lang “YOU and ME”, hindi “US”. Buti sana kung pseudo-pain lang din ang mararanasan mo. Kaso hindi eh. Real pain. And usually, kahit tapos na ang pseudo-relationship, hindi mo maiwasan umasang one day, may karugtung pa rin yun. And you will be miserable, hoping to bring back what you used to have, only to find out eventually that the person settles in another pseudo-relationship with somebody else. Ang hirap ano? You agreed to this kind of set up for fun and then you’d end up hurting yourself in the process. Pero pwede namang maiwasan ang pain eh. Pwede naman na hindi mo muna isipin ang future and just enjoy the feeling without thinking of the consequences. But if you are certain that you are going to hurt yourself in the process, kailangan mo mamili. You can be happy and live the moment without worrying what will happen next. Or you can stop settling with pseudo-relationships and wait for the real thing. Ihanda mo lang ang sarili mo sa consequences. Dahil ang “parang kayo pero hindi” stage are bihirang nagiging totoo. Usually, hanggang doon lang siya..almost, but not quite..
